mozilla being stupid

I've been having problems with mozilla ever since i reinstalled slack. I just upgraded to 1.5 yesterday, but i was having the same problem with 1.4 before. The problem is that sometimes when i'm in mozilla and i go do something in terminal or gaim or abi word and then i go back to mozilla, i can't type anything in the address bar or into any sort of text window. In fact as i was typing this message my friend popped up on amsn and after i talked to him for under a minute i had to close mozilla and open it again in order to finish this message. Also mozilla can't remember that i want the text zoom at 120%. I have to set it whenever i start it (though i usually don't unless the site has small text). In case this has anything to do with it, i'm running fluxbox 0.9.6.

I don't know exactly what the problem is but I would start by checking to see if there is a fluxbox problem. Perhaps fluxbox is not properly keeping track of which application has the focus.

i've tried running it in gnome. haven't incountered the error where i can't type. but it still won't remember to start at 120% text zoom. i have to manually change it. i have no idea what the problem could be.
