Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Mozilla and Java
Alright, I'm using Mozilla 1.4 (Galoen and Epiphany 1.0 actually, but based off mozilla) and I've tired to install Java several times. I've used mozilla and folloed the link to the netscape place to install it. I've installed that as well as gone to sun.com and downloaded VM for linux from their site. None the less I'm unable to get Java 1.4 installed....anyone have issues concerning this and know any fixes?
P.S. BTW I'm using RH 9.0 with GNOME 2.4 rpms. Sorry almost forgot to mention that
yes go for blackdown java. i have been having this problem of mozilla 1.4/java for long. lastly after installing suse8.2 and using the blackdown java supplied in its cd, java plugin in mozilla actually worked!! and don't forget to create only a 'link' of the java-plugin in the mozilla plugin directory but i think u know this already
