Movie preview corrupted with totem

Hello everyone. I have Totem media player on my computer for the sole reason to show a thumbnail of my movies when looking at them through nautilus (I don't even use the player to be honest)

Lately the movies in my movies folder (located ~/Documents/Movies/) the thumbnails are not showing up like they should on all movies. I'm just getting the generic icon for them instead, although some still do show. If I drag the movies folder to the desktop and then open it, the thumbnails will comes up fine. Same if I leave it in the Documents folder but rename it to something else, the thumbnails will be perfect. This only happens when the folder is specifically named "Movies" and is place in my "Documents" folder.

At this point I'm assuming it's some kind of cache storing the thumbnails so that it doesn't have to load them every time. I do not know where it is though.

I'm using Gentoo linux on kernel 2.6.12, and totem 1.0.4.

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers this post.

Even though no one answered my post, I did find the answer. For anyone else who runs into this issue, there is a folder in your home directory called ".thumbnails". Delete this folder, and it will force the thumbnails to rebuild.
