Hello.

I need to find a good movie editor software. The software should be able to cut scenes and have some effects.

Can some one tell me where I can find a good movie editor, plz?

Bye for now!

Thx.
But :
RECOMMENDED FRONT END SYSTEM

Now Cinelerra is by no means a lightweight program. You'll need something slightly less sexy than a handheld organizer to run it most effectively.

Dual 2Ghz Athlon.
1GB RAM.
200 GB storage for movie files.
Gigabit ethernet

RECOMMENDED RENDERFARM NODE:

Single 2.4Ghz Athlon.
512MB RAM.
No storage.
100MB ethernet with boot ROM

To much for me, if there is a smaller software it would be much more nicer.

My PC can handle cinelerra and it isn't exactly a speed demon. You only need the renderfarm to render if you render and it will render anyway w/o it just dead slow.
What I can't handle is to figure out how cinelerra is supposed to work but I am not the only one having that problem.

Perhaps I do not understand your question. But if you want to edit videos like with Adobe Premier then I recommend you MainActor. Part of SUSE.
