Movie color distorted after installing Real Player
After trying to play a frontline documentary in firefox, I downloaded real player, since the file format was rm, and installed it. After installing it, the color got distorted, the people are blue. After reading a few threads on ubuntuforums, I decided to
1. make sure deinterlace was checked on totem; and after that didnt work
2. uninstall totem
3. install w32codecs
but none of these worked, and all the colors are still distorted, the people still blue.
So my main question(s) are
How to reset the settings before Real Player was installed, get real video/audio support without using Real Player at all, and get that support within firefox?
Im using ubuntu hardy
