Move mailbox
Hi,
I'm about to change my clarkconnect 1.2 box for a more powerfull machine, running fedora. I must move my mailbox, though. I'm the only user and I use fetchmail to retreive my mail. It is then deposited into my local mailbox on the clarkconnect machine. It seems to be mbx format, since I have no probs with concurrent access. Can I simply move the mail-related files into the home directory of the new machine? Thanks, |
Yes, if you're talking about the .mail or Mail directories. I did the same thing as you but in reverse. I was using Mandrake and migrated to Clark Connect. Btw, what was your overall opinion concerning Clark Connect? I am considering purchasing the enterprise version.

ClarkConnect is excellent. Versatile, stable, powerful. An excellent product, probably worth the money to get the extra. Depends on what you are planning to do with it though...
I went to fedora because this machine is my test bed for machines at work that run redhat9 and will run fedora. |
