Angry Mouting root on S/W RAID1 device in RH 9.0

Dear all.,

i am trying to mount the root on a RAID1 device which ws created after installation.
I have modified my initrd file to load the RAID1 module & modified the linuxrc script in it.

But now when trying to boot, during execution of initrd its giving me the below error
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k md-personality-3 errno=1

Pls let me know the entire procedure for this if any body has tried it earlier.
