Mouse macros in Linux??

I know of many mouse, and keyboard macros for the Windows desktop, but have yet to see any made for a linux desktop, can anyone explain why this is? Or maybe point me to a macro recorder? I understand that good ol' script is supposed to be more powerful, but there are certain occasions where I really need a mouse macro. Thanks all!!!

Out of curiosity, which apps do you use which would make a mouse macro useful? -- J.W.

Certain games that I like to cheat in such as Wurm Online (www.wurmonline.com) check it out. A REALLY nice game being made in Java.
