mounting linux share point on windows


what configuration must be placed on linux to share a directory for use from windows? currently, samba 2.9 is installed if that helps.

thanks for any help!

try something like this in your smb.conf:

[mydata]
comment = My data files on LINUX
read only = No
create mask = 0640
directory mask = 0750
browseable = Yes
path = /usr/local/mydata

"man smb.conf" may help :-)
