Mount samba shares in Mandrake 8.2

I thought that Mandrake 8,2 was supposed to make it easier to mount samba shares? I can't see anything that will let me do that. I can't even see DiskDrake, and I thought that was supposed to be the tool to use!

I'm confused!! :(

Well, I'm not sure how is it in MDK8.2, but I suppose you can add a Windows partition as any other network share, just its type will be smb. If cannot be found in DiskDrake (I'm not sure if it's the best place to search for network filesystems..., I'd look for something with "network" instead), you can edit /etc/fstab and have samba filesystem mounted.

I am not an expert too say the least in fact, I have just installed Mandrake 8.2 myself today, but I think you can do it with linuxconf. Just open a terminal and type "linuxconf"

Furthermore, I have noticed that they have a course on it at http://www.mandrakecampus.com.

I hope this helps you.
