Mount command says / is mounted from /dev/hda4, but I know its /dev/hda1

Hi,

I've recently copied over a backup from my /dev/hda4 installation to /dev/hda1 and its running fine, but when I run the mount command it says that filesystem /dev/hda4 is mounted on /, but I know it's /dev/hda1 that is mounted.

How can I specify that / is mounted from /dev/hda1?

Thanks

If I understood your question properly.....
change the /etc/fstab file. and remove /dev/hda1 and make it /dev/hda4

Thank you. I changed the / partition in the fstab to /dev/hda1 and it looks better now.

:)
