Modem Lights Applet Configuration
I have read all the postings in linuxquestions pertaining to this bug and checked RedHat Bugzilla posting and am determined to get the Modem Lights Applet in RedHat9 to work properly for me.
I am using an external USB modem with PPPOE for my ADSL connection.
My Modem Lights Applet will connect me - but will not disconnect - just continually asks me if I want to connect.
I have checked ls for a lock file using -l /var/lock/LCK* when I am connected - no such file.
My Preferences/Advanced ->Modem Lock file is pointed to /var/lock/LCK..ttyS0. How can I determine if ttyS0 is the proper lock file?
Neat shows two connections: eth0 and ppp1.
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
Grant
