mod_auth_kerb+Mozilla browser in windows + apache server in Linux
 

Hello

I am using mod_auth_kerb module( for apache webserver ) for authentication.

SUMMARY of ISSUE
Apache server is in –Redhat Enterprise linux 5.0

KDC –in Redhat Enterprise linux 5.0

I have installed and configure---Openssl0.9.8g, apache 2.2.8 ,mod_auth_kerb 2.3


when i try to access http://ruchita.com or https://ruchita.com from my linux machine (i..e mozilla brower in linux) where ruchita.com is my server name ,it works fine

BUT when i try to do same from my windows mozilla browser there comes issue
1)) when i enter in the url -http://ruchita.com ,it pops a login box to enter the username and password. After entering my credentials ( username-ruchita ,and my password)it again prompts for the same i..e login box keeps popping up for the same

I also saw the apache error logs
error parsing server name (HTTP): host name cannot be canonicalised


2)when i enter in the url -https://ruchita.com , i am getting
Secure connection Failed
ruchita.com uses an invalid security certificate

(Error code :sec_error_untrusted_cert)

I will be highly thankful for the guidance
