Mldonkey connects to only a few servers???

I've downloaded mldonkey as core and use kmldonkey as a front end. I've opened all the ports needed . But mldonkey only connects to a few servers , not all ( eg now , after 30 minutes of running it is connected to 1 server @ soulseek , 4 on edonkey , 5 on fasttrack , 8 on g2 and unfortunatelly none on gnutella , opennap and direct connect).

What should i do? Is this normal (i really doubt though!)?
