Missing subfont.ttf in Mplayer

When I launch gmplayer, I get an error that reads
NEW_FACE failed
Please supply subfont.ttf text file

Can anyone tell me where to find the file and where it is supposed to be. Thanks..

I think you can copy any *.ttf or *.TTF file as ~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf

Thanks. That fixed it. I figured I screwed up the compile or something. Wow MPlayer rules...
