"Missing Operating System" (vmware)
I installed vmware and everything booted up well. Then i did fdsik and created a 4 gig virtual drive. Fdisk told me to restart so i did. When i start up the virtual drive again... it says
"Missing Operating System"
does anyone know how to get past this? thx in advance

well it does boot from the cd rom the first time... but after i went into fdisk and created a primary drive. It wouldn't even start the bios saying "missing operating system" any ideas? i appreciate the help
well i had the same problem with Ubuntu. uhm do u have a cd that u made that u can boot from? cuz thats wat I did and I went back to thepartition editor andput a boot flag on my Windows Xp partition. lol my problemnow is to get my partial linux install off my computer so i can try it again.
