Missing LV from LVM volume group

One of my disks died but resurrected and I was stupid enough to run some vgchangle --removemissing command that removed the faulty disk from the array. Now i got the faulty disk back up and it is now a part of the volume group but the volume group has no allocated PEs. lvdisplay outputs nothing... my main_disk_group_0000 even contains a description of the logical volume:

logical_volumes {

diskarray {
id = "KrYHQE-dQzy-mVsY-CmOj-rN37-O1X7-BD9Adb"
status = ["READ", "WRITE", "VISIBLE"]
segment_count = 4

segment1 {
start_extent = 0
extent_count = 119234 # 465.758
(and so on)

if i can ever access my terabyte of precious data again i would rejoice!

vgdisplay shows:

Lightbulb Vgcfgrestore

I tried doing vgcfgrestore -f main_disk_group_0000 main_disk_group and this outputs:

Cannot change metadata for partial volume group main_disk_group
Restore failed.

Why does the config restore fail??

Here's the very very verbose output:
