Missing (all) icons from gnome-menu.

Allright, so here it goes, goes like:
I don't see any icons in my gnome-menu. Not one.
No matter if I create a new menu (by using panel/add to panel) or what, I don't see any icons next to the menu positions.
I created another user, just to see if I own the necessary icons at all, and the new account had-it-all, i.e. the icons were visible (apart from that, the menu was the same).

I was wondering which config file of gtk/gnome is responsible for that icon invisibility, but gave up. I haven't found anyone with similar problem. Usually people don't see some on or two icons for some reason, and fix it by editing shortcut properties. This doesn't work on mine menu.

Moving to a new user account is out of question - I have tons of software, IDE-s and lots of local system variables configured in my account and no intention to create it all from scratch.

So can anyone help me?

Thanks

Do you get a "default" icon, or no icon at all? Do the icons show in the menu editor?

Go to System->Preferences->Menus & Toolbars and make sure Show icons in menus is selected. That's where you choose global settings for menu icons.

Cheers

Oh geez... really.
I didn't think it's THAT simple :)
Forgot about non-textfile-editing configurations :)

Thank you very much :)
