minor problem with mandrake 9.1

Hi

Have installed mandrake 9.1, did have mdk 9.0 upgrade from 9.0 to 9.1 didnt go so good, so did a clean install.
My problem is that when i shut down the computer, the next time i start it up I have to rerun the internet connection sharing before i can access the internet. where should i be looking to see whats changing this? And what would likely be causing it to do this.

I have same problem with ADSL. ISP assigned untill 2 months ago. Box kept 'going to sleep'. When ISP changed, I had to enter dns in resolv.conf everytime I boot. Something in boot clears entry. Man and info hasn't helped.
I am one of those people who needs to have things on the 'bottom shelf'. What do we change and where do we change it?
