minor icon annoyance in Apollon

The mini openFT, Gnutella, and FastTrack icons don't appear in the info window, or next to files in the search window.

Also, the Apollon icon does not appear in the task bar. All these icons are replaced by the dog-eared-piece-of-paper icon.

I had it working at one point, now just trying to figure out what I screwed up. I reinstalled apollon, and the icons still won't appear.

(running kde 3.1.3 on Mandrake 9.2)

Thanks in advance.

i guess what i'm asking is... is there a path that applications use to look for icons... how do I access and modify this?

I am starting to think my problem was from installing in /opt.

if you instaled from source, you need to configure apollon with the --prefix option. type 'which konqueror' to know what's yours. In my case konqueror is installed under /usr/bin so for me it would be:
./configure --prefix=/usr

Good luck
