Depends on your WM I guess. I'm using IceWM and I have no probs moving it around orminimizing. Spose you open your favourite viewer and ALT+TAB your way around.

I am currently using Blackbox on Slackware 8.1

It wont let me move it even using ALT + Mouse

Perhaps if someone knows how to bind keys to change which desktop im on that might work. Anyone know which file to edit to do this?

Not sure if this is same in blackbox, but in fluxbox the default for switching desktops is ALT+F1-F4. The config file is ~/.fluxbox/keys, so maybe it's ~/.blackbox/keys in blackbox

~/.bbkeysrc:
Code:
KeyToGrab(Down), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(ShadeWindow)
KeyToGrab(Left), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(PrevWorkspace)
KeyToGrab(Right), WithModifier(Control), WithAction(NextWorkspace)
that should get you started....
