[JOKE]hello people10[/JOKE]

Have you looked in the KDE control center? Having started it look under "Appearance & Themes" --> "Colors".

Also eliminate the possibility of it simply being the monitor. 2 Effects may cause it (on a tube monitor)

1. Poor focus setting. There's about 5KV dropped down by the focus anode, and a pot, usually built into the Line Optput stage these days. Trace the thick wire from the tube base back to the board and look for 'focus', 'anode' or simply a knob sticking out of the tx. That usually affects the whole screen.
but you may notice the edge first.

2. Magnetism. On/off switchings magnetise the outside of a screen, which is in turn demagnetised by a set of degaussing coils. This doesn't do enough sometimes, and magnetism builds up. Often your monitor has a 'degauss' button. Use it. Otherwise there's party tricks to degauss, and we'll discuss them if necessary.

It's not a monitor problem.
It's software feature which adds extra information.
For example looking only to taskbar you can say which window is
minimized and which is restored without a need to look at your desktop itself.
The problem is that I don't like this default behavior and want to remove it.

looking for more suggestions
thanks.

Vilius,

Since you have email disabled in your profile, I will state what needs to be said here publicly.

DO NOT POST SPAM LIKE THREADS/POSTS TO BUMP YOUR POST COUNT TO GET AROUND RULES WE HAVE IN PLACE. IN THE FUTURE, WHY DON'T YOU CONSIDER MAKING REAL POSTS INSTEAD OF SPAMMING OUR FORUMS WITH UNWANTED THREADS THAT MEAN NOTHING.

If you don't like the rules we have in place for good reasons, then don't post. But show a little respect, something you have not shown as of yet by attempting to bend the rules to benefit yourself so you can place a URL in your question.

In the future, if you persist in breaking these simple to follow rules, you can and will lose all privileges to this site.

Regards.
