MIC is not working with skype in Fedora 10

I am using fedora 10 my all audio works good. when i speak in MIC then i can hear my voice in Speakers as well but when i call someone on skype, the next person dont listen my voice in test call i cant even listen my own voice. i dont know what is the problem. looking for early response. Thanks a lot

I don't use Fedora but I suspect the problem is with your alsa mixer, assuming that's what fedora uses. I would open that and play with the settings. Also, if your mike has setting, check those. you should be able to hear your own voice when doing the skype test.

Thanx but i m playing with alsa and pulse audio since last week but in vain. i dont know wat the problem is in skype

I am tired of doing such a searching to make the MIC working

now its too much. can anyone tell me how to configure the MIC for Skype. thanks
