Mepis 6.5 and Tellico
I have a little problem with the software Tellico (Collection manager)
On Mepis 6.5 the only installable package version is 1.0.3 I think when in fact the current stable version is 1.2.11. I tried installing stand alone Ubuntu deb packages but the dependencies conflicts are wild and the package is uninstallable with Kpackage or from CLI.
Anyways my problem is the old version of Tellico will not accept my movie collection because the file is not compatible as it was created with Tellico 1.2.7. Anything above 1.2 is not backward compatible with older versions.
Anybody know of a Mepis Deb package of a recent version.Maybe one they built for themselves. I could not find any in my Web searches. Above 1.2.x at least. I mean a package well conceived enough to be installed as is without the depencies breaking my distro.
