Menu letters rotate

I have been working on some tex files and add a ~/.font directory. Then I found my foxit reader, which itself works with wine, changed a bit. It looks garbled but then I realize it is not, only each letter in the menu rotate clockwise by 90 degrees. The pdf content are normal. I upload a screenshot to picasa, so you know what exactly I mean.
I could reinstall foxit reader now, but before that I would like to know what happened.

Hi, I just found out the problem comes from wine, though not sure what happened. After reinstalling wine, things work fine now.
