medical software: ris emulator supporting hl7

Hi!

I need to test communication with a ris usin hl7. Are there Free or free emulators available out there? I've tried using dcm4chee but I don't think it supports more than adt's and I need to be able to make queries, send orders And get results bAck.

Thanks for your help.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this looks like a "translation" layer between disparate systems, am I right?

I'll try to have a little fun interacting with openvista through hl7. Not a ris but I'm sure it will support a lot of HL7 messages.

I'm not sure exactly what you want, but a FLOSS app may not exist.

Maybe:

If not, then search the site I posted for something else.
