Media Players
Is there a program that can play mp3's and has a good libaray organizer for fedora 2? or anything for that matter that I can install with an rpm (i hate compling anything)

Did you try xmms? It looks and acts just like Windows Winamp. It even supports the same skins. And most likely it is shipped with your FC2 CD's :)
|
theres the catch - xmms shipped with fedora doesnt have the mp3 support (licensing issues)
So i think u can get the mp3 plugin from freshrpms.net |
i prefer xmms, too. but you could also try rhythmbox, which is really good for organizing media files.
|
also, u can try rhythmbox or juk (but i think mp3 support has been ripped off them too) - so u might need to recompile stuff.
btw, i my personal opinion, juk rocks (juk is included with kde) |
IT's no problem to get the mp3 plugins for FC2 xmms. A quick google will bring up some downloads. Mandrake includes the mp3 support at this stage.
