mdadm (get my array working again)
hi everyone,
right now i have 4 disks with a raid 5 on them, created with raidtools2. my raidtab looks like this: raiddev /dev/md0 raid-level 5 nr-raid-disks 4 nr-spare-disks 0 persistent-superblock 1 parity-algorithm left-symmetric chunk-size 128 device /dev/hda raid-disk 0 device /dev/hdc raid-disk 1 device /dev/hde raid-disk 2 device /dev/hdg raid-disk 3 i plan to use ubuntu instead of open suse, so i need to get my array working again on the new os. how can i get my array back using mdadm without destroying my data??? on suse i would act like i recover from a multible disc-failure with: mkraid --force /dev/md0 |
