Unhappy MD5 fails consistently

Trying my hand at Linux! But I can't even get it downloaded!? :S

I've downloaded Mandriva Free 2006 DVD five times already, and none of them pass the MD5 check. Then I tried downloading the CD version, none of the CDs check out. I tried with HTTP link or FTP sites. I scanned for viruses with the latest libraries, nothing. I tried downloading it from different sites, different software, different hard drives!

What could be the cause of this consistent failure? My router? My ISP? Does anyone have a suggestion? Is there any "ultra safe" method i could use to make sure that data is corrected if received incorrectly?

I'm trying with Torrents now (10k/s), but it's not as fast as the FTPs (450k/s)! I wish there was smth i could do for the FTP downloads to work...

Thanks!
Magic

http://tlm-project.org/public/distri...o/2006.0/i586/

you can use enhanced ctorrent if you like to dl the files in console
