mcopid1 not found

Hello one and all,

I've been working to install KSmoothDoc on my Mandriva machine (running KDE 4.)

Upon running ./configure the it abends (fails) with the message:

"The important program mcopid1 was not found!" ( sounds exiting eh?)
Please check whether you installed aRts correctly...

I've searched through the programs that are available for installation via the archives and can not find a reference to mcopid1 or aRts.
What am I missing that I need to get installed?

As always, any and all help is gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance!

KSmoothDock is a desktop panel (like KDE's kicker) for KDE 3.2
and above (KDE 3.5.x) . "aRts" is also a part of KDE 3.5.x .

So not at all to be used in KDE 4.

Regards
