MBR troubles

I have 2 hard drives and one had Fedora Core 4 on it and the other has Windows XP Home Edition. I used the Administrative tools in XP to format the drive with linux on it. Then I restarted Windows and found myself at the GRUB command line! I had forgot to delete GRUB from the MBR! Now I'm panicking. I can't delete me Windows Drive it has important data that I hadn't backed up. What should I do?!?! I dont have a floppy drive.

GRUB is not finding its /boot/grub directory that's why it's starting in the command line mode.
If you intend to erase Linux & correspondingly GRUB use Windows Setup Recovery Console & give Fixmbr command there
However think twice if u r thinking of moving from Linux to Windows

Just boot with winxp cd and start up the commandline and type

fdisk \mbr

and you should be set.
