Question MathCad on WINE

Has anyone ever tried running Mathsoft's MathCad 2001 on RH8.0 with WINE. It is about the only windows program that I cannot live without. Or, better yet is there any Linux based software that is similar? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

afaik mathcad is available for linux, as is matlab and mathematica. you might also want to try octave, a genuine GNU equivalent
