Mandriva 2007 Official Release - Theme Manager Bug

Hello forum,

I just thought I would let anyone who is running the Mandriva 2007 official release that there is a serious bug in the theme manager in the control center for KDE 3.5.4. Even if you install all the available updates as of Dec.5, the problem is still not addressed.

By default, the Mandriva theme is the active theme. If you choose any other theme and apply it, everything will still be fine. But if you decide to put the default Mandriva theme back in place, all of your open windows will have the uppermost top bar missing plus there are other things broke too. Even a system reboot will not fix it. Since I didn't know how to fix it, I had to do a bare metal restore to put it back the way it was.

Just thought I'd let you know,

Roy

I've closed this thread because you already have a similar one in the Mandriva forum that discusses this issue.
