Mandrake Sane install ??
 
Trying to install the latest version of sane front & back ends & Xsane. I get a message that I should uninstall the older version. How do I do that? I've tried using the Software Mgr > after uninstalling > I'm assuming it's working > when I try to install the newer version I still get messages about older version of software still on the computer.
Trying to get my parallel port scanner working.
Mandrake 8.2
Dazed & confused again.
