mandrake looping on package installation

Hi There,

I burned the first two CDs for Mandrake 9.1. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, got through the first two CDs with no problem...less than 1 minute to go...then it asks for the third CD(internationalization). Didn't think I needed this, so I tell it to cancel (think that's what it said to do if you didn't have it). Then, instead of going to post install, an error is given (sorry...didn't write it down) it loops back to looking for available packages and brings up package selection again. Cancelling here just restarts the loop. Powered down then back on, to see if the packages were truly installed. Then get the infamous "LI" hang. I have a boot disk for RH7, which I hoped to replace with MDK 9.1, so I can use fdisk to get rid of any pesky boot partitions.

Thanks for your help.
