Mandrake 9.1 Xserver question

I know from a # prompt you type startx to stat the Xserver and get a GUI desktop. Once in the GUI what is the "stopX" command? I want to beable to start and exit Xserver without having to restart the computer or logout and logback in.

Thanks

press ctrl-alt-backspace
or you can simply logout and this should get you back to the command prompt but you don't have to login again (you just get ack to the command prompt) - does it for me. I am assuming that you don't boot to the graphical login. Also if you used startx to start gui, then go press ctrl-alt-f1 will get you back to the terminal and press ctrl-C there. Should do it too.
