Mandrake 9.1 Problem

(Note: I'm a bit of a Linux Newbie)
I've tested this out on both GNOME and KDE and I get the same problem on each. My keyboard seems to "stick" once and a while. Example:

The quick broown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The quuicck broown ffoxx jummpped over the lazyy dog. The quick browwn foxx jumpped over the lazy dog!!.

Please note I do know how to type (Typing speed off 80+WPM). The real strange thing is, everything works fine if I switch to a terminal (TTY1 etc.) but if I use the GUI I get the above typing problems. (It also works fine in Windows).

Also I am using a Toshiba Laptop, and the keyboard itself iis fine.

Thanks.
