Mandrake 9.0 Need some help
I just wiped my system where i used Red Hat 7.2 and decided to put Mandrake 9.0 on. I am trying to change my resolution and so I am trying to access XF86Config-4 but I keep getting access denied, and yes I am already logged in as root. Thanks alot guys for your time.

Basically When I type /etc/X11/XF86Config in root I get permission Denied

XF896Config access denied
Why dont you just use your Control Centre, you can change your resolution and do most hardware related configuration from there?
I was testing the command myself and getting the error message but I am assuming (ass -u -me !) that you already have a desktop available? Croc |
