Mandrake 8.1 install
Installed Mandrake and manually created the partitions between two hard drives. Rebooted and now it does this:
Loading linuxEBDA too big and it just hangs there. Maybe I made a partition too big or something. Ok, since I have this problem and I really don't have anything worth saving on the hard drive, what would you recommend for partitioning? Primary Master Drive - 4.5 Gig Primary Slave Drive - 20 Gig I obviously want to have a large amount of space for /home/. Should I manually partition the drives (I think that's where I screwed up) or should I let it auto partition? Thanks |
create a /boot partition and make it around 50 megs, that should solve your boot problem.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try it when I get home.
