Mandrake 10 trouble
 

ok well after two weekz of research and downloading all linux version...i chose to go with mandrake 10....onlie cause they seem to be good software for sound n stuff....but there installation suckz...!!!!!!! i can not seem to get it to install rite at all..is anyone installed 10 yet ?????? because everytime i get to summary it just restarts da installion on me...help !!!!!

oh i did get it to install on my labtop...and it workz prefect...just few bugz here n there....nothing that u cant fix !!! ;p

What kind of hardware (mobo, sound, video...) you got? Mandrake is known to not install on Asus A7n8x (perhaps other nForce2 based) motherboards.

I got that mobo and it installs cleanly. The problem I think, is that version 10 is still beta. Wait for the official release...

msi k7n2g with amd atlon 2200 mhz
nvidia IGP /mcp2
realtek alc650 6 channel audio
256 ddr 3200
40 gig hard drive with win xp
120 for fat 32 and linux partition

im still waiting for a response ..................
