Mandrake 10.2 beta

I just installed Mandrake 10.2 beta on my laptop and everything is going alright for me so far except for one thing. I downloaded the ksmooth tar and when I run ./configure it says that it can't find the path to the X include files. Well, I'm assuming I need to dload and install the xorg 6.8.2-0.3 devel rpm for mandrake. If this is right, does anyone know where to find it? Also, I'm not very well versed in linux yet... I'm still learning. I'm having a problem with Kwrite popping up and saying that the cpu temperature is above threshold and then it says Running in modulated clock mode. I'm assuming this has to do with the fact that my laptop heats up because of the auto fan. What does the modulated clock mode all about and how do I turn this off? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

This is my guess.

To get the x.org-devel RPM, go into your Mandrake control Center --> software --> install and then search for xorg. it should give you a list of related files to xorg.

I tried that earlier and I didn't see anything pertaining to the xorg devel stuff but here's what the search does turn up:

xorg-x11-cyrillic-fonts-6.8.2-0.3mdk (I'm assuming these are simply support for cyrllic fonts in x.)

xorg-x11-glide-module-6.8.2.-0.3mdk (This is something to do with glide for people still using 3dfx cards?)

xorg-x11-Xnest-6.8.2-0.3mdk (I have no idea....)

xorg-x11-Xvfb-6.8.2-0.3mdk (Also have no idead.)

Those are the only things I have come up. Other than that I dunno. Anyone got any ideas on the temp thing?

Thanks in advance to all and thanks Micro.
