Managing VMware on Kubuntu
 

I installed VMWare on Kubuntu 6.06 using the following instructions. Everything seemed to go well. I installed Win XP no prob. One issue that I am having is when I try to administer it via the instructions on the web site. It says to enter https://192.168.0.100:8333/ in the browser and you will get the admin page. My IP is .6 and not .100 so that is what I entered and it worked well the first time. Now when I enter it I just get a page cannot be displayed message. Any idea what may have happened?

BTW, my IP has not changed...

Is there a service that needs started? apache, some vmware-mui service ?

How about a list of processes? ps -a
