Question Managing user data

Hello

I installed Slackware 10.2 and did the following

1. added an user

2. installed Azureus on it (downloader)

3. shared the downloaded data trough Samba

What I want to do is to be able to delete/move/add data to that especific directory, when I try to delete data I can't do it, only through SSH, any ideas?

Thanx

did that user have the permission to do that?
you can type "ls -l" to show the detail information, such as :
Code:
[zhyfly]@[zhy2fly][~/tex](0)$ls -l
total 92
-rw-r--r-- 1 zhyfly zhy 0 2005-12-18 20:55 missfont.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 zhyfly zhy 0 2005-12-18 22:06 test.aux
-rw-r--r-- 1 zhyfly zhy 696 2005-12-18 20:57 test.dvi
-rw-r--r-- 1 zhyfly zhy 0 2005-12-18 22:06 test.log
-rw-r--r-- 1 zhyfly zhy 10672 2005-12-19 01:55 test.pdf
-rw-r--r-- is the permission for the type of the file "-"
the permission of the owner: "rw-"
the permission of the group: "r--"
the permission of the others: "r--"
check that out maybe help.

Good question!

The folder has all the permissions, what can I do to ensure that all the data downloaded from that user can be changed from other users?

Yes, you can use the command "chmod" to change the permission of the folders or files.
Details about chmod you can man it.
