There should be a manpage for mencoder, although it's the same as the manpage for mplayer.

man mencoder and man mplayer both work (on all my machines).

I just realized I do not have a man page for mplayer also. I think the problem was I installed mplayer in my /opt directory. I did do a locate mencoder and mplayer, I do have the man pages.

What do I need to do to accsess these man pages? should I manually move them so they are with my other man pages. I got an idea, maybe I should do man man :-)
