Making QXINE my default mpeg viewer in Firefox.

I am using fedora, and Gnome. I want to make QXINE my default mpeg viewer. My problem is that when i look for the application, i cannot seen to find it. It loads fine when i run it out of the terminal. The files are located in /usr/local/lib. I am just recently switching from a mac and I am used to having a file to click and cannot seem to find one. One method i tried was creating a launcher and linking that to the default, it did not work.
Thanks.
