Thumbs down Making Mozilla deafult browser from Evolution

Hi

Sorry for the lengthy question, but I am new to linux firstly and secondly am having a hassles with Mozilla and evolution.

So build is as follows:
Redhat 9 - bulid 2.4.20.18.9
Ximian Desktop 2
Galeon 1.3.4
Evolution 1.4
Mozilla 1.3.1

I am logged in as root.

How do I firstly make Mozilla the deafult browser for the system. I have changed the file associations in the applet to use Mozilla, but it still opens Galeon (esp from a Email with a link in the mail.)

Secondly how do I get the java plugin to work ? I have installed the Sun JDK 1.4 and created a symbolic link to the mozilla plugins directory, but it
still does not work. I have also run regxpcom against the so file and there are no errors.

Any help would be appreciated
