Making DVD ISO

I just got SuSe 10.0 and was trying to make a DVD iso to save disk. Have linux on desktop computer but all files are on laptop running windows xp. Can someone help me on how to make a DVD with either OS.Guess I could always move files to desktop if needed. Current SuSe version is 9.2

I'm not sure what you are asking...

You want to make a DVD that backs up everything precisely as you have it? A recovery disc of sorts?
