Making a boot floppy for usb
Okay so I got a old laptop not net or cd only floppy and usb...So I got damnsmalllinux installed but the gui is all messed up and i can't seem to fix it also it's not really what i want anywyas. So I continued my search for linux's..I came across cpx mini kanotix {http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~bading/cpx-mini/} and downloaded and installed the mini-3 iso to my usb pendrive. I would like 2 get it working on my laptop since I actully use kanotix on my desktop and is my fav distro...My problem is i can't boot usb from the hd and i don't know how to make a boot floppy..So if some on could help me make a grub or lilo or anyother kind of boot desk to allow the usb to boot on my sys it would help me a whole lot..After this I'm about out of ideas on how to get a good linux on my laptop other than pulling the hd out and putting it into a newer laptop to load linux but i don't have a newer laptop 2 use right now. thx
