corba errors

Did anyone ever solve this problem?

I am getting the same errors when I use the Print Manager and others. I am using RH9.

Configuration server couldn't be contacted:
CORBA error: IDLmg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0
Configuration server couldn't be contacted:
CORBA error: IDLmg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0
Configuration server couldn't be contacted:
CORBA error: IDLmg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0
Configuration server couldn't be contacted:
CORBA error: IDLmg.org/CORBA/BAD_OPERATION:1.0

This did not happen out of the box. It could be due to software installed since, but I cannot for the life of me find which caused it. It would be too painful to reinstall RH!!

Thanks for the help so far!!

I tried "killall gconfd-1" and it was ok until I logged in again! Rebooting does not solve this problem for me.

Any other suggestions anyone?

Regards,

Stephen Ng

Angry

I also tried deleting .gconf & .gconfd directories. Again this helped for the session, but as soon as I logged out and logged in again the CORBA error appeared.

HELP!!!!
