Mailing List Manager

I need a mailing list manager program that can manage a newsletter mailout each week. It will only have a couple of hundred members and while I could use Evolution and contacts it seems that something that lets me store mail address in a database say MySQL and can then mail a message out to all entries in database would be better.
Any suggestion as to suitable software would be appreciated

Personally I prefer Mailman to handle mailing lists:

No Mailman is not what I really want. That sounds fine for a full fledged mail server. What I am looking for is something that can help me run a one way mailing list. That is all mail will be outwards from me. I want to be able to keep the names in a database which I can do a query on and send a message to those names only. My alternatve is to put all the names in to contacts and create several distribution lists for each type of mailing. This seems awkward and I was wondering if there is any software that would be easier to use.

mailing list

ever got an answer to this one?
I'm looking for an easy way to send mails to a mailing list located in a simple text file (tab-separated email list) using a Windows machine with Outlook express connected to a RedHat 9 server which in its turn is connected to the ADSL internet connection. The actual mail server is at the ISP.
The text-file will be on the server.

any ideas?

thanx
